Stopped by Sand Island yesterday to check out the place.

There is a nice large awning over several picnic tables. At about noon, no one was using them, so hopefully we can get this area. Does anyone know if we can reserve this area? But in case it is raining, does anyone have any of the pop up awnings they can bring...(please post here)

Also, we need a few bbq's. Anyone going to bring one. Please post here so I know that when the winner brings his/her fish in, we can cook it right there and share (right winner you will be sharing...with your fellow fishers... )

You thought I was just going to check for lead...no, that's just an excuse to get the fillets going.
