As you seasoned Washington anglers know, you don't have to fish the legendary rivers of NW BC to catch a relatively high percent of trophy sized steelhead. Northwest Washington and Southwest BC have great wilderness places that put them out also. Justin Guse (Rock and Row) took Paul Luhrs (Willie Rower) and I fishing one of these great rivers last week and we were very lucky to run into a fresh push of large nates - landing 3 big ones out of 9 on in one day (next day was on it's way out with rain and snowmelt - so we fished the Sound). We got a couple bucks pushin 20 and a mid-teens hen. {EDIT: Parker's scans of our fish pics below is better). Thanks again Justin! You and your Team Vision pals do know the trophy zipper rivers.
