"Injuries limited Rodriguez to 111 games last season and 91 in 2000." That's AP, out of Arlington. I don't know what he did last year, but it didn't help his team, and neither does catching foul tips with his bare hand. I think you're supposed to hide your bare hand behind the glove, aren't you?

Like I said, it's early, but he missed a bunch two years ago, a bunch last year, and he's playing the toughest (physically) position on the field. I wouldn't want to absorb his contract in the hopes that he gets healthy and gets his bat back. We can live without his slight improvement in defense. I still think if you trade Wilson, you trash the clubhouse atmosphere that all those guys say is so important to their success.

Dan S., we still need to win 8 out of the last 14 or it doesn't mean dookie! wink
