the first question i'd ask is are they glass lenses? if they are then it's probably not to bad, but i've been real hard on any type of glasses that aren't glass. they tend to scratch very easy, especially when on the river with all that sand and fine grit around. Right now i have a pair of Smith OTIS polarized. they've been great, i've had them for three years (that a long time for me) and have been really happy with them. Just another opinion for ya
