Hey guys, I've never really fished the Wind. The only time I have fished it, was this last Sunday. I didn't have a clue where I was going. Maybe some of you can help me with landmarks. Shiperd falls is below coffer dam which is below the hatchery. I got that, but is there an actual dam, or was it removed? How much space is between the falls and the dam, and from the dam to the hatchery? It's a long drive, and don't plan on fihsing the river to many more times, but I would like to know some basic facts. For example, if I ever want to battle the crowds again where shouold I go, where can I walk, and how much exploring can I do?
