I do not know anything about sabercraft but I fished out of a 69 16' fiberform for years and loved that old 'tub'. the only reason I got rid of it was too big for one person to launch and take out comfortably,too much running around racing other boat wakes and such.

I have been fixing up old boats for a few years and I forget about cost effectiveness and look at what suits my needs and go for it.I would hate to say how much I have in my current HiLaker.
