Each spring and summer I spend many hours paddling a kayak along the shores of South Puget Sound for SRCs (trolling and casting flies). This weekend, I spent some scouting time around the mouth of the Snohomish.

1)How does the “barrier” island at the mouth of the Snohomish fish for SRCs? It looks to me like the south end of the island at higher ( 8 + ) tides would be good.

2) How about the beach north of the Mukilteo ferry terminal and south of the Everett port? Here too, it looks good at 8+ tides?

Any thoughts on these two locations..??
