I forget that you normal folks don't realize how fouled up things can be down here. We have two John Days. One in central OR and one at the coast.
Both have a town and both have a river. Maybe the same guy named them both and forgot he had already done that once before. Ya know they were making their own beverages back then. The one I am referring to is on the OR side about 3 miles upstream from Astoria or about 1 mile upstream from Tongue Point. Sorry for not making it clear.

PS I'm using the term town a little loose. The coastal John Day is much like the town of Gobal, it is comprised of one store and thats as big as its been for the last hundred years.
