That is funny johnbul as I know exactly where those fossils are!I have been collecting them since I was a kid.I was planing to contact the U.W this year but this winters high water didn't produce as many As I figured.I have a couple on the fireplace mantle as I write this,they are very delicate.I have seen whole fish imprints and bones that look like big arctic charr,long square dorsal fins.I found the first ones probably 20 years ago.

I am going to print that story as I have always wondered about that erea.I figured it used to be a lake as the river leaves the flat and enters the canyon above the steel bridge.The entrance to that canyon is only a few feet wide.thanks for the info
