I have read this name on the board from time to time and I thought to myself whatever or whoever PETA might be sure wasn't held in high regard. I know it may be hard for some of you to believe, but there seems to be a lot of people out there that have never heard of them....YET. Today while scanning news I came across several related stories regarding vegans or as they were known in my generation, vegetarians. I didn't think I had a problem with them until I read that a select group called PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals)won't eat honey because the poor worker bees make the honey and they live in an oppressed society. I can just see the headline now. "Vegans Sue Bee Hive". In an age which has seen men walk on the moon, the Berlin Wall come down, the influance of an evil empire toppled, and the world wide web come of age, how is it that these wacko's get press time and attention showered on them? This politically correct stuff is going too far. Who gives a damn they don't eat honey made by the worker bees? What the hell ever happen to these poor stupid soles to make them so sick? Are these the kids of the flower people so brain fried from LSD and all that other crap? You guys that want to raise hell over bonk or C&R or the issues of hatcheries have legitimate differences and you should debate them.
However, you had better close ranks on these bas***ds or your all just blowing smoke up.......
