the thing that gets me about combat trolling is when you are headed in a staight line at one speed and some turkey cuts your way and eventually gets mad at you for being there. every day that i'm out it seems that it starts to happen around 700 am. i try and remain patient and breath deep but after about the fifth time i'm cut off my blood heats up.

one guy today came in on me, i slowly turned to parrallel him, he tells me he's pulling about 100' behind him on little weight so i angle off hard to get out of his way within a minute he he's right there again. turn off again. by this point i'm going 90 degrees off my origanal troll. look up within a minute there he is AGAIN! i notice that once he's really close he puts hand down to his kicker and parrallels me gives me a dirty look lets go of his motor and it drifts off to a pretty hard angle in my direction. if it had happened once fine, but after three times i was pretty mad. couldn't get behind him because i would have crossed his lines with my cable. eventually i did what i always do and gunned it hard to get infront of him. the thing that got me wasn't that he was getting in my way and wouldn't move it was that he refused to turn off after i had twice and then kept letting go of his kicker only to drift my way again. mad mad mad

sorry i had to vent. i agree we should all remember when fishing from a boat that we are boaters first, anglers second.

easy, it was a small king the size and color through me for a bit.
