All right...let's hear 'em.

I'll go first...

Saturday morning. Got in line at 5:45, in the gate at six. Watched the first twenty or so run like hell for the river, I walked in behind them.

They all lined up on every rock around the creek, but I like the spot up about 50 feet or so, bigger rock out in the river. No one was up that way at all yet, so I was happy.

Walked around for a couple of hours, chatted with a few folks, tied a few leaders, smoked a few smokes.

At the 8 am whistle, 150 or so lines from both sides of the river gracefully launched...then all hell broke loose. Lots of fish being hooked on first casts...me included...though not a lot landed, mine included.

Hooked another on my second cast, amid others getting hooked up...crackered again. frown

Third cast is the charm, fish on and landed.

Bonk, tag, re-tie, re-bait, back up on the rock.

Now it's about 8:30, I've taken three casts, hooked up three times, landed one. Ten more minutes and six more casts...one solid hit missed...then fish on on the sixth. Landed.

Done at 8:40, nine casts, five hits, four hookups, two landed. Back at home for breakfast by 9:45.

Let's hear how the rest of you did, especially those who went today. Any left for the rest of the week?

Fish on...

Todd.
