We have lost another good man!

At 4:30 am this morning I received the bad news that Bob Cameron (long time member of Friends of the Cowlitz (FOC) and dear friend) had passed on during the night. Most of you probably didn't know Bob, or what he had contributed to the sport fishery on the Cowlitz River. Bob was the original person who had spent thousands of hours (years) in the development of the FOC off site rearing ponds and net pen projects that are still being used today.

Bob unselfishly raised and released hundreds of thousands of steelhead and spring Chinook for our sport fishing enjoyment. Bob hardly even got to fish on the fish that he had so diligently raised over the years for us. He only did it for our fishing enjoyment! We will forever miss sport fishermen like you Bob!
