Everything is open right now but that may change soon.

I went out of Hoodsport on Saturday and pulled up pots so full that I don't know how they all got in the darn thing. Three pots, probably 75 crab, 1 keeper. I only set once so I really didn't make much of an effort but you can see the ratio in my particular attempt wasn't that great.

There are a lot of soft shell out there right now and on with silvers opening soon up on the north end the WDFW likes to shut it down this time of year to help control the harvest. My guess is they may keep it open for another 3 weeks and then either go to a 3 crab limit again or close it altogether until late October.
