Worked the bubble Friday. Wasn't going to go since it has been so slow and I have been putting off work around the house. But I have been promising a friend of mine that I would take him out so I said I would for a few hours ( he really had to twist my arm though). Well, this guy has never caught a king.... Should I even tell the rest of the story??? I am sure everyone knows how this will end....

Well, we were out there maybe 15 min...Downrigger pops but the pole stays straight up. My bud grabs his rod and says..awe it just popped off the rigger I saw it pull down then go straight up so I said, I don't know, give it a little tug.... BAM!!!! Fish on...His rod was almost ripped right out of his hands. I started laughing my a$$ off :p His eyes looked like a three year old on Xmas morn. 20# in the boat. His first ever. Pretty exciting watching someone fight a king for the first time...

As for me.....Lets just say that I had a good time watching him catch his fish.... Sure did taste good on the que though...
