If it isn't a Riptide, don't use it in salt. I sale alot of electric motors and have had 3 Endura models that were less then 2 years old brought in because they know longer worked, guys swore up and down they were only used in freshwater but as soon as the prop was removed you could see the salt build-up. Nothing we can do for them when they miss-use the motor.
