I've never seen the Almar, but the Alumaweld is a great boat. Bought mine in May and it is really well built. Recommend Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville. I found them by looking at web sites and got a very good deal and continue to be please with the boat. : I have the Stryker Sport Jet not the Super V but I see the Super V's on the river and on the sound.
