I have just taken my 2001 Mercury 225hp Optimax back to the shop after yet another plug fouling failure. When it is running correctly it is a super motor for performance and economy but Mercury seems to have an engineering problem on their hands since they recalled this motor last year and still can't seem to figure out how to fix it. Anyone else had a similar experience.
