well i hit the river this afternoon and i ended up getting a buck about 8-9lbs and had 1 other on for about 2 seconds then it got off the fish i got i caught it on a dick nite spoon silver with an orange end it hit on the first cast with it,before that i was throwing spinners with no luck.then just before dark i was standing in the river and i happened to look down by my legs and there was a huge fish just downstream from me about 1 foot away just under the surface i could have touched it it must have been at least 5 inches across its back and at least 3 feet long,i watched it for a minute and then it turned and went out to deeper water,man what a nice fish.there are still a lot of fish in there later,Bruce
