The Bayrunner BR18 is probably about 16' at the waterline - it has a high, raked bow. You see a lot of the BR18 Bayrunners in Alaska. I would put it up against any boat in it's class for seaworthyness.

It's interesting, I noticed Yamaha OBs in great numbers all over Alaska back when they were uncommon around here.
