I think it's the weather's fault. I think a combination of the high pressure, warm water, and low river levels has put the fish off the bite. Silvers are usually pretty aggressive little suckers, and it seems the weather has just screwed them all up. I also think the warm water temps are speeding up their metabolism and causing them to turn dark sooner than is normal.

My guess, anyway.
