It is raining in Forks! Barely ... just some drizzle and nothing to help things out. But, in my never-ending search to bring the rivers up, I did find an important link that had been lost sometime in the recent past.

The Quantitative Precipitation Statement which we've been accessing at: http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/afos/SEA/QPS/SEAQPSSEA is now under restricted access for some reason (you can't pull the page, and the link to it now says restricted access below it). A big loss to those of us looking for a little more than the std. Steve Pool or ????(enter your fave weatherperson here), "It's gonna rain".

After a bunch of digging this evening, I found another place to get the forecast (this may have been an old addy for it for some of you) at: http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/npvu/data/text/rfcqps/nwrfc/nwrfc06

There you have it, estimated rainfall in six hour increments for the next three days for dozens of points across the NW ... the first one is UIL, any guesses?? laugh :p
