Went to Soos Creek with my 11 year old for the youth fishing offered there. A few kids around but nothing like the adults on the main river.
Not much water. Got fish by finding a cut bank with overhanging brush. Fish were stacked up underneath and allowing an 18 inch leader/yarn/hook setup to swirwl around them
would eventually get the hook into a fish's mouth. This was kind of nice because either this would happen or nothing would happen,
ie, no snagging. Also were fish finning around in the open water. Throwing a line at them showed just how uninterested they were in biting.

It was nice of the WDFW to offer this fishery for the kids. My kids liked it and learned alot.
