I also have seen this corraling on the Yute, but the case I witnessed had the featherheads setting their nets, running downstream a ways, then beating sticks on the water to scare the fish back up into the nets. This incident was immediately reported by myself to the fisheries patrol officer who was at the Mora ranger station that day. The last I saw of this paticular indian that day he was making his way back to offload at LaPush, his boat was so dangerously overloaded with his greedy catch that, I swear his boat had only 2" of freeboard. Makes me wanna puke!
