I really like the Fishermuns Lure coat from Dick Nite. I have been painting my own spoons with great success. I bought an airbrush at the Everett Tool town for $20-$30. Cant remember the price. Never have used it. With a small brush you can put the paint on thick enough while it is hanging for it to dry smooth. I also put a clear coat over it and it really dries smooth. The shine stays on the glow colors when this is done a little better. The white base undercoat really does bring out the color. These are just laquer paints. You can tin it down with laquer thinnier. for stripes I mask off with blue amsking tape. When done the clear coat over the top of everything flattens it back out. Good Luck!
