I'll disgree with the recommendations for the cheapies ... I think you get what you pay for, to a point anyhow.

I have both Action Optics and Maui Jim's (I would have never spent this mauch on glasses as tough as I am on them, but Fishgal & I took the rep and his family clamming and he gave us some certificates for our choice of glasses as a tip

Both far outperform both in polarizing ability and acuity the cheapies I've tried in the past.

For a medium $$$ pair, the Action Optics are super ... I've had very good luck with mine and they are my everyday pair of glasses on the boat. The Maui Jim's stay in the car where I won't drop them overboard!!
