Actually, what really makes me angry are the folks that power their boat on the trailer. Prop or especially jet, this digs big holes in the ramp, even eventually concrete ones but especially on plank ramps. Then at low water or low tide you have axle-busting craters to deal with. All because some nitwits are too lazy to use a winch . Even better are the one's who's trailers are not even equipped with one If this resembles you, please think about what you are doing to to the launch, the launch maintenance fees, and even to the price of your fishing license. Repairs to launches are not free. My personal wish for a law on punlic boat launches would result in a "No Power Loading - Fine $500" sign posted at each launch, then you guys who persist in doing it can pay to get my launch fixed insead of me
