i was there myself this morning and it seemed like there were a ton of fish...mind you it was only my third time there and my first at anything less than high tide...my fishing was at an all time low, all those fish around, one bite, i couldn't even snag one if i tried( and i am ashamed to admit i did try a few times and still couldn't hook one)...what the hell was my problem??my river drift gear surely wasn't the ticket..4 ft. leaders, corky, no corky, no retrieve, slow retrieve, fast retrieve(maybe i can hook one on the way in)...i just plain sucked today!! i will not let that place get the best of me...the place with the least amount of skill required to hook fish and i couldn't...i'll be back(with shorter leaders and smaller corkies)...beware of the thoudands of dead fish..sucks to drag 'em in & unhook 'em and walking all over them also is a pain in the arse...almost fell in today...NASTY!!
