That's what they were doing. Snagging to put at the hatchery and spawn them when they are ready.

I did alot of it when the Humptulips hatchery was just starting up. Great program to get the hatchery going. The fish just didn't swim into the hatchery all by themselves when it was just installed.

And I also believe that snagging them is way better on the fish. Lot better than letting the fish eat a gob of eggs or netting them and ruining their gills.

Alot of fun, you bet, alot of work, you bet.

Now, if we could just get the hatchery to clip all the fish we will continue to have a great c&k fishery. Maybe they do???????
