Jeffhead Spawner Registered: 03/27/00 Posts: 531 Loc: Olympia, Washington	SHD, The sleeves are not SS, they are aluminum. I have replaced 1 on my old pump and part of the impellor sharpening this weekend was to file the intake nose on the sleeve to smooth out the transition between the sleeve and the shoe (new style pump).
