Outrage? What outrage? Over half the people with "Support out Troops" stickers are clueless when asked to describe what that means, other than that they support the invasion of Iraq, some blindly, some not. The writer's raises a good point about not blindly lending support. I think he's right that many say they support the troops in part from their own guilt in sending them to war in the first place.

I've been trying to find out what "Support our troops" means since the saying first popped up shortly after the invasion began. Other than paying your taxes, which supports the Denfense Department and Army, etc., what else does any civilian actually do to support our troops?
