I seem to recall GW proposing a plan to give young workers the opportunity to divert at least a tiny amount (4% ?) of their present SS donation into private retirement accounts. And the Demos gave themselves a standing ovation at the SOTU party for blocking GW's plan..

Personally I believe that, due to our public education system, that "younger" workers are so clue-less as to what is going in todays' world that they are in deep trouble.
