"Yes. It seems to describe just about every single one of us, doesn't it?"
I can almost agree with that. I definately have my fair share of intolerance, but I think many people on this board who have hate issues (including me) are irritated by those who use race or religion or politics to harm others. For instance, at first glance, if you were to meet me on the street, I fit your average WASP profile, and for the most part it's true. However, I hate (keyword) the way some Christians believe they have the right to punish because they feel superior. I hate racism, I'm sure I sound like a racist at times, I really only say it to get under other peoples skin because I know it bothers them. I don't hate musl;ims or hindus or jews and think they all should be able to practice however they want as long as they don't hurt anyone else. I don't hate republicans, my father is one, I dp hate republicans that want to opress the poor and eliminate the middle class, there are plenty of dems I hate as well, Hilary and dean, just to start, don't like kerry much either. So what it really boils down to, is that yes, we all hate, but hate for exlusion of others based solely on race, religion, creed, political affiliation or gender is wrong, always will be, and that is truly bigotry.
Sorry to hear fishing was poor, I'll save my gas money this weekend, thanks for the update. I am jealous you got to spend your day on a boat with a couple of true heroes though.
