Did a wiretapped phone call from the Qaukers tip the feds off on this guy??

Just curious if they caught this guy through good old fashion police work, or if they needed a warrantless wiretap on an American born citizen, within the United States to catch this scumbag.

I suppose that we needed a good terrorist bust before the up and coming mid term elections.
