Salmonella, I appreciate your last post, and I agree with most of it, however...

These guys:

...are the ones who have been in charge of the Republican Party, and have been running the show unchecked for the last six years.

These guys, however...

"the faction of your wonderful party that consists of the treehuggers, the vegans, the gun grabbers, the hippies, the radical feminists, the animal rights activists, the pro affirmative action racists, the American socialist movement etc etc..."

...have not only not been in charge of the country, they are not in charge of the Democratic Party, either.

No one should like extremists at either end, but the fact of the matter is that the Radical Right Extremists have stolen the Republican Party from true Conservatives, and have made hay with our country...while the Radical Left Extremists aren't even in the running within the Democratic Party, much less running the show in D.C..

I'll take the moderate Democratic leadership we now have over the radical right Republican neocons that we've been stuck with the last six years.
