the anchor that came with my boat has a aluminum case around it, i didnt think i would it but so far its ok, it will never lose its shape and always fits in the holder, i prefer glass boats and like tin boats but when guys ask me about the aluminum around the anchor i cant help but say, "well you know how sticky tin is on rocks, why not make an anchor out of one" dont get me wrong both glass and tin boats got there places
