I use the Symetre 2000 for steelhead. Hold 100 yards of #10 Suffix line. They work beautifully. The Stradic has more ball Bearing and would last a little longer, but unless you're plannng on using it more than 75 days a year I don't think would matter. The 4000 series is too heavy, and the drag isn't designed for a smooth pull at steelhead settings in my opinion.
You might look at the Stradic 2500 which is new and holds a little more line than the 2000's without weighing more.
Both the Symetre and the Stradic use a "floating shaft" design not available on the other models that allow for a smoother retrieve and longer life also.
