Here is a pic of the only shark we dared try to handle, it was a hammerhead about 3 feet long. Notice how BK is keeping it well away from his body. These babies were just plain mean. We caught Hammerhead, Blacktips and Lemons up to eight feet long on Allstar 962's with Curados spooled with 20 lb test and 40 lb test steel leaders with yeah, you guessed it 5/0 Vision hooks. We had to resort to fishing for sharks becuase the wind put the Tarpon down and off the bite. We also did some night fishing for Latina's while we were there. We believe in C-n-R on this species, We practiced this on a night to night basis in different locations to not damage the gene pool.
