Philpac33,

Because it's small it's probably someone's zipper. Fortunately, I don't know any secrets about it, so I can only give some general information. It's brushy as all get out, and while it's legally fishable for cutthroat and steelhead, it doesn't turn my crank, and I"m content to leave it as a cutthroat and steelhead and coho spawning tributary of the Chehalis. I've fished the little headwater lake it flows out of for cutthroat in the spring, taking float tubes in by mountain bike. It's nice, but similar to many lowland lakes that harbor native cutts. Potential zipper note: I caught absolutely no trophy cutts there; just the usual little guys.

It's not a pristine stream, but consistent in accordance with the usual cycles of drought, flood, and marine survival. It's not stocked as far as I know.

Sincerely,

Salmo g.
