I just got back from two days at Midchannel, not smart enough to learn from the first day I guess Fishing was worse than I have ever seen it - no bait, no shakers, nothin'. Only fish I heard of (2) were not caught out on the bank but instead in shallow water early. I know it opened a couple weeks earlier this year, so maybe that's what's wrong, but still, with all that time off there should be something out there

Only good thing was afternoon crabbing on the Canal on the way home - limits of crabs to 7" in 1 1/2 hours on 3 pulls
