The thing that bugs me is the sensationalism this type of media renders inside people could potentially motivate someone to attack us.
In some cases the media almost exposes our vulnerablilities as a nation to the point where they're saying "Attack us here and do it this way."

I think we would all be better off if the media could report on news without blowing all of these stories into worse-case scenarios. It gives freaks that do live in America bad ideas.

I think we are safe too. I like our way of life and would protect it at all costs.
I will continue to think that way until the day something really bad happens inside our borders. I try to remain prepared for that day, and will try to keep my mind in other places until then. I shudder at the thought of the impacts of some form of biological/chemical/dirty nuke bomb attack on our soil.

Abroad, Anti-American sentiment is growing stronger every day due to the strong-arm approach Bush is taking with Saddam. When you watch the BBC or read news from other countries it's really evident that we aren't making anyone happy internationally except Britain. I hope that this war against Saddam and Iraq doesnt create a bigger problem for us down the road.

It seems like Bush is internationally reshaping our image as arrogant Americans who dont give a damn about UN policy and due process. I dont think he speaks for the majority.

I am not saying that Bush isn't doing the right thing, but that his and his cabinet's methods and approach stink sometimes. He wont get my vote next time around.

beer ..Cheers to that
