Lately there has been a lot of local hype about "Poets for Peace"......my response follows:

Poets for Peace

So poets all are just for peace?
You had better look again.
Peace is a result of a huge price paid
On a bill that never ends.

The life you live so spoiledly
Cost many, many a man.
And there will always be
Yet another Genghis Khan.

I have little tolerance,
No, rather none at all
For those who think the good life
Isn’t bought with cap and ball.

I’ll never salute the Swastika,
Hammer/Sickle, or Rising Sun.
So don’t you dare in front of me
Fly my flag and run.
