I've got two All Stars. An 1143 and a 1086. I broke the 1143 a couple of weeks after I got it. (right at the ferrule where they have a rep for breaking, but so do most other rods) The warranty was great. I took it back where I bought it and they gave me a replacement right on the spot. As far as feel goes, they are a good quality rod, comparable to a Lamiglas, especially for the price. (about $110 or so) NOT Loomis GL3 quality IMHO, but NOT near as expensive either. I'm happy with the ones that I have.
