Hey Bruce, just picked up the latest STS and saw your article on fishing around Craig, I really enjoyed it, sounds like you fished all the good spots, I'm kind of partial to "the Cape" (Ulitka) thats where I got "my" first 50 and a number of my guests have taken big fish there as well. Pineapple/Little Roller is another favorite of mine, 1 stop shopping there with salmon and halibut.
I'm glad to hear you weren't "buffalo hunting" (looking for big halibut) alot of guides in s.e. are realizing the importance of leaving those big breeders alone, I sure wish it would catch on else where before we get to the point that the state steps in (which I think they eventually will)
