This summer I broke my Gloomis float rod tip while trying to shuffle some gear around in the dark.

So I sent the rod in with my $20 and a letter stating the above story. They called back this time and said they are shipping me a new rod and returing my $20 as well since it was clearly a defect on their part.

I thought this was cool on their part and just wanted to give them kudos for a job well done.
