When fishing rivers for steelhead I have found that even when you have perfect water conditions that if it is sunny out that the success rate goes way down.example I have caught 14 fish in the last 2 weeks all on corky and eggs, water had good color and it was at least over cast if not raining.I have tried switching colors changing sizes of both corky and bait size but it just dosen't seem to mater they just don't bite,I guess what I am looking for is do you find this to be true if so what have you changed to make it work.
