I fished 1/2 day on Thu and Friday. Sol Duc is low (~ 6 boards) and clearer than tap water Hoh was ~1400 cfs and kind of clear for Hoh. I LLRed a feisty jack. Lost it on the 4th jump and that's about it. One fairly good size steely followed my spinner to the bank. Ran into Bob Ball on the Hoh. Based on what I heared things are as Bob said "so-so". You need to cover lots of ground. Heard of a 18 lb in someone's car at the gas station and Bob showed me a place where he had a 18 or 20 lber the other day. So they are there Watch out for ice. I fish tailed at 11:30 and it was AM 2 or 3 weeks ago fishing was good but it has slowed. Need some more rain.
