The Tr-1 Autopilot allows you time to focus on fishing/rigging, we use a flux-gate compass with rate gyro to hold heading. you point the boat in the direction you want, and the TR-1 takes over from there, also you have throttle control on the handheld as well, if you use GPS you can link us, and we will run a route, or take you to a waypoint, . The TR-1 can react faster then the human brain and hold you on course even in wind, waves, and current.
