Things look like they're well on their way out out this way right now, so I'd thought I'd share one of favorite rainy day things to do this time of year:

Head up the Sol Duc Hot Springs Rd. to the Salmon Cascades pull off and watch steelies jump the falls!



Remember, no fishing up that way, so don't even think about it But bring a cooler and a lunch and spend a few hours watching the fish work their way up. Sometimes, you get 3-4 jumping at once ...

This should be good for about the next month or so
