I know I'm going to catch it on this one, but I think where, when and how might have more to do with it than the barometer. When it's this late for steelhead (oh they're there) & it's too early for springers you won't find me in a boat on the bama. And even though I truly love that float, I'd stash the oars and lace up my hiking boots. An old pritchard puss used to tell me this time of year to go where the fish were going and stop waving at them as they swam by. But then again he also insisted that Kalama steelhead only bite when the sheep are up and grazing at the red barn too. wink
